At present, solely six countries in the world have reached gender equality, and all these countries are in the European Union.

The World Bank analysts have come to this conclusion in the latest Women, Business and the Law report.

Accordingly, the six countries where there is gender equality are Belgium, Denmark, France, Latvia, Luxemburg, and Sweden.

Armenia is in the second hundred, with 83.7 points. Its neighbors Georgia and Azerbaijan have 79.38 and 78.75 points, respectively. 

The study has analyzed several relevant criteria in the laws of 187 countries, and a country has been given a point according to each criterion.
