PM Shmyhal hopes Ukraine-World Bank cooperation to continue at same pace in 2023

MOSCOW. Sept 23 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal is hopeful that cooperation between Kyiv and the World Bank will continue at the same pace next year, Ukrainian media said on Friday.

"Discussed financial support for Ukraine with [World Bank] Managing Director for Operation Axel van Trotsenburg and Vice President Anna Bjerde in New York," Shmyhal said.

The Ukrainian prime minister thanked partners for their prompt decisions and expressed hope that the pace of cooperation will not slow down next year.

Ukraine is also expecting the start of cooperation in the energy sector, he said.
