ArrowPointe FCU Makes Plans to Introduce New Financial Literacy Program Within Fort Mill School District Athletics

FORT MILL, SC, UNITED STATES, August 21, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Fort Mill School District has announced a three-year community partnership with ArrowPointe Federal Credit Union, a credit union owned by members, not for profit, and focused on helping the community. In addition to providing support for the district’s middle school and high school athletic programs, the partnership will also introduce a financial literacy program through Bentley’s Kids Club, a program designed to teach children about the value of saving money.

“We are very excited to support our Fort Mill School system and their heavy focus on language, literacy and math,” explained Melissa Burrell, Branch Manager in Fort Mill, SC. “We agree that these skills are critical for a student to serve as a highly functioning member of society. As a Fort Mill native, I am pleased and proud of the continuous drive for change and betterment in the Fort Mill schools and in our community.”

As a strong supporter of education and interscholastic athletic programs, ArrowPointe also plans to implement multiple “School Spirit Give Back Programs” for students and families within the Fort Mill School District. Mention these programs in connection with your Fort Mill School, and ArrowPointe will donate money back to the schools to use for supplies they need. Official details and campaigns are scheduled to launch this fall.

“We are excited about this new partnership with ArrowPointe Federal Credit Union,” said Dr. Chuck Epps, Fort Mill School District Superintendent. “Their commitment and support of both our academic and athletic programs echoes the district’s mission of placing ‘Children First…Every Day’ and will play a critical role in the development of our students.”

With this investment, Fort Mill School District Athletics news and information will remain easily accessible through their district-wide, multi-media platform, fortmillathletics.com. It will continue to provide student-athletes, families and fans with content including: game and practice schedules, scores/results, team and program news, events, photos, videos and highlights all in one convenient location.
